It was a long, solitary hike, today. I stopped in Newport, VA to secure a mail drop from The Huffman House. And, I caught a hitch from a friendly local by the name of Rodney White to a nearby store.
Back on the trail, I settled at Server Hollow Shelter. Since the shelter was a ways off the trail, I was the only one there. I built myself a fire, ate dinner, and fell fast asleep.
