This morning, we ate at The Barn Restaurant in Atkins. Sufficed to say, I was not impressed. The meal was served very slowly and in parts; most of us ordered the 2x4 Hiker Breakfast and were given our pancakes without the rest of the meal. The remainder of the meal was served after we had seemingly taken turns eating pancakes. (I also never received a chocolate milk that I had ordered.)
After breakfast, Spam's mother drove us to Damascus, VA for Trail Days. Spam, Vitamin C, Indian, Honey Badger, Berkeley, and I set up camp behind the Lazy Fox Inn, along the river. Then, we ventured to tent city to see other hikers and some of the vendors.
